As an incoming student, there are a couple of things you need to familiarize yourself with about campus Computer and Network Usage.

The first thing you need to do is obtain your Student ID (SID), PIN, and Email Address. You can acquire these from the MSSU IT Help Desk 1-2 days after enrolling.

You should then read the Network Use Policy, Computer Use Policy, and Game Console Policy.

After obtaining your account information and reading the policies, you should log in to your accounts; if you experience difficulties logging on, contact the IT Help Desk.

If you plan on bringing a computer to campus with you, ensure that it meets the minimum computer requirements listed here.

If you plan on using the wireless network on campus, read the connection guide for Vista or XP.
